Surgical Recovery

Surgery in London. Recovery at home. One team for both.

A CQC-registered, doctor-led team in the UK. We prepare you by video before you travel, work alongside your London surgeon and hospital, and hand your care over to your doctor at home, with 30 days of follow-up there if you choose it.

  • A doctor’s review in person while you are in London
  • A fitness-to-travel check before you fly home
  • A written handover to your doctor at home
  • 30 days of scheduled follow-up at home, with a licensed clinician in your own country whom we name to you in advance Follow-through programme
  • Daily written updates to your family while you are in London Sponsor-paid programme

Our clinicians deliver care in the UK. Any medical care in your own country is given by a licensed clinician there.

The journey

From before you travel until you are home.

  1. Weeks before
    Before you fly

A doctor reviews your health by video, and your coordinator plans the trip with you and your family.

  2. In London
    Your operation

Your surgeon operates. We are your one point of contact, and a doctor reviews you in person.

  3. Before your flight
    Going home

A fitness-to-travel check once your surgeon has declared you medically fit to travel.

  4. When you leave
    Handover

A structured medical report for your doctor at home: what was done and what comes next.

  5. First 30 days home
    Follow-up

On the follow-through programme, scheduled check-ins with a licensed clinician in your own country.

Questions

Good to know.

Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp or by email and a coordinator will reply.

What hours do you work, and in which time zone?

UK time: Monday to Friday 08:00–20:00 and weekends 09:00–17:00. Message us on WhatsApp or by email at any time and we reply within those hours. When we book a video consultation, we take your time zone into account.

Do you speak Arabic?

Not yet. Our team works in English. If you would like a family member or an interpreter to join your consultations, tell your coordinator.

What if something goes wrong once I’m home?

Call your local emergency services first. We support your recovery; we do not replace emergency care.

Then tell your doctor at home, and your named clinician if you are on the follow-through programme.

How much does it cost, and who pays?

The International care programme is from £3,500, or £5,000 with home follow-through. The sponsor-paid programme is from £7,500. Your surgeon and hospital charge you separately.

You, an insurer, an embassy or another sponsor can pay. Payment is in full, in advance, before care begins, and nothing is charged until you choose to go ahead.

Who sees my medical information?

Our clinical team, and your doctor at home, who receives our handover report. A sponsor receives reports only with your consent.

How long do you stay with me?

From your first video consultation until we hand you over to your doctor at home. With the follow-through programme, for 30 days after you get home.

Ready when you are. Two minutes online, or a message on WhatsApp.

Message us on WhatsApp · patients@surgicalrecovery.com. We are here Monday to Friday 08:00–20:00 and weekends 09:00–17:00. In an emergency call 999 or go to A&E; for urgent advice, NHS 111.
